I love Dimas’ Vegan soups... So does Chika ☺️🌱💚

🥔 Potatoes
🍄 Champignon
🌿 Spinach
🧄 Onion
🌱 Nutritional yeast
🧂 Salt, pepper & veggie spice mix
🌭 A little vegan Polish Krakowska sausage
🥓 And a bit of vegan bacon from nuttyvegan.dk

He takes such good care of me on my lying-in-bed days ☺️💚🌱
And it’s good for the environment too, to have mercy enough for the animals. ✨
Win-win situation! 😁

Yesterday we also had some Krakowska, because it’s my fave vegan “pølse.”
It normally costs about 60 DKK, but we got 2 close-dated ones for less than 80 kr 😄
Always check the “TILBUD” (discount) section at Nutty Vegan!
Poor people can eat good too — if we are smart with what we have.

The vegan salmon in pictures at the buttom, is from Lidl Denmark and costs about 15 DKK.
Toast bread is always around 5–15 DKK.
Look in the “close to date” sections in supermarkets or for yellow discount stickers 😁👍

It breaks my heart when some stop being vegan due to hard times like homelessness.
I met two ex-vegans recently at the shelter because of that 😭

Shelters in Denmark often don’t offer vegan options, even if you pay to have a spot.
But you can cook vegan food yourself:
🔥 over a small outdoor fire
🧯 or buy a hotplate (100–200 DKK) — we found one for 150 at Amager Centret!
Then we cook outside or in our room when the shelter kitchen is dirty or full.

Yes, Denmark has lots of vegan food in the cities (salad bars, fries, burgers, falafel, etc),
but eating out daily is too expensive — even for non-vegans!
We all know Denmark is awesome but very expensive 🙈

We just have to stay clever and true to ourselves and not forget what we stand for 💚🌱🙏

If you read Danish and get Dansk Vegetarisk Forening’s paper,
I wrote an article this month about how hard it is to be homeless and vegan.

So please don’t judge a struggling person who was vegan before but now eats animals again —
or shifts to vegetarian during hard times —
even if it hurts my heart too sometimes.

👉 Instead, maybe invite a struggling vegan for a hot, complete vegan soup sometime ☺️💚🌱🙏
